Welcome to the Primate Girls Go Green Foundation, a transformative community initiative rooted in the belief that when you empower a girl, you empower a nation. We are a Uganda-based, girl-focused foundation that merges three powerful forces: sports, environmental and community sustainability.
At our core, we are nurturing young girls into becoming not just future athletes and environmentalists but leaders, caregivers, and change-makers for generations to come.
This is more than a program…it's a movement of young African girls leading the charge toward a healthier, greener, and more resilient future.
What Do We Do?
Three pillars that transform girls into leaders, athletes, and environmental stewards.
Girls in Sports
We use sports as a powerful tool for unity, empowerment, and holistic development. Our girls actively participate in football, volleyball and athletics where they learn vital life skills such as teamwork, confidence, discipline, leadership, and resilience.
Tree Planting Programme
In Uganda's rural communities especially those along forest boundaries our girls are planting fruit-bearing trees on family-owned land, making a direct impact on households, ecosystems, and the climate.
Athletics
Our girls actively participate in athletics including running, jumping, and throwing — developing speed, strength, endurance, and overall physical fitness through school sports programs and competitions.
